With I Am David – Cleans, the clean sound stops being just a starting point. The 8 Scenes explore different shades of the same voice: from the most essential clean tones to delay tails, from rotary textures to softer boosts.
On the Fractal Axe-Fx III, this preset becomes a small emotional palette that can be adapted to the character of the song.
Eight shades of the same breath
Clean is the purest starting point, Classic Vibe adds a more vintage color, while Wall Delay and Echorec Delay open up the space in two different ways. Extreme Rotary, on the other hand, brings movement directly into the performance itself.
Then come Boosted Clean, Black Cat Solo, and Tube Driver Boost: the foundation remains clean, but gradually gains presence, texture, and intensity as the song requires.
When control becomes expression
Here we don’t start from the title of a song, but from the role the guitar needs to play in that moment. We choose the Scene that breathes best inside the arrangement, then refine levels, tails and dynamics together with the band.
