Yet Another Movie
Music becomes a story, an experience, and culture.
Pink Floyd Infinity takes audiences on a journey through Pink Floyd’s artistic history with live music, words, images, and lights: different forms of expression, woven together into a single, unique performance
A STORY THAT COMES TO LIFE ON STAGE
The show traces the evolution of a human and creative journey, shedding light on the encounters, rifts, explorations, and transformations that shaped it. Musical pieces, narrative segments, and visual imagery come together like chapters of a single story. Music takes center stage.
Narration, images, and lighting expand its meaning.
How the Story Takes Shape
Music opens chapters
The songs have been selected and arranged in a sequence that traces Pink Floyd’s artistic and personal evolution. The arrangements, dynamics, and transitions come together to form a cohesive narrative.
Words create connections
The narrative connects works, people, and historical events. It introduces shifts in perspective and provides the audience with the context in which the music was created.
Words Create Connections
Photographs, documents, and video content set the scene for the events, evoke the atmosphere, and transform each piece into a visual tableau.
Light guides the eye
The lighting design accompanies moments of tension, transitions, and changes in the narrative. Together with the musical and visual direction, it helps convey the emotional journey of the performance.
The performance is attuned to the space that hosts it.
A theater, a square, a cloister, or an industrial space are not neutral venues. Dimensions, perspectives, memory, and the presence of the audience all influence the way the stage is perceived.
For this reason, the show’s staging is adapted to the setting: the balance between words, images, lighting, and music is fine-tuned so that the venue truly becomes part of the experience.
The narrative structure remains recognizable, but each portrayal takes on a character of its own.
The precision of the timbre enhances the narrative.
Sound design is the answer to a need: to restore identity, depth, and continuity to the various musical segments. Programming, sampling, and timbral analysis are developed in-house and integrated into the show’s direction.
