DG-20 Legacy in our live setup on the Headrush Core

How a Sound Library Becomes Part of the Show

DG-20 Legacy becomes part of our setup by following the repertoire directly. Each preset is tied to a specific moment in the setlist and adapted to the role the guitar needs to play within the song.

We do not work with abstract categories, but with ambient cleans, modulated rhythm tones, overdrive, lead sounds, and sustain designed to work effectively within the band mix.

From Sound to Song

Each preset takes us directly to a specific reference point: Shine, Any Colour You Like, Brain Damage, Comfortably Numb, Coming Back to Life, Keep Talking, Learning To Fly, Money, Run Like Hell, Sorrow, Speak To Me, Take It Back, The Wall, Time, and Us and Them.

In the more open, spacious songs, we focus mainly on delay and ambience, leaving room for the vocals and keyboards. In the lead parts of Time and Comfortably Numb, on the other hand, sustain, dynamics, and presence in the mix become central.

Run Like Hell is our reference for precision and repeated delays; Money for attack, gain, and modulation; Shine and Us and Them for depth and spatial control.

On stage, it's all about the FLOW

On the HeadRush Core, we organize the presets as an operational block within the setlist, checking order, levels, transitions, and delay behavior before the live show.

Where necessary, we make changes only to the parameter that is causing the problem in our rig, without unnecessarily complicating the pipeline. The result is a faster, more readable, and more natural workflow during execution.
