DG-20 Legacy in our live setup on the HeadRush Eleven HD
When the sound finds its place, the guitar really begins to tell a story
With The DG-20 Legacy, the 16 tones Next come various moments from the repertoire: from the expansive clean tones of Shine On You Crazy Diamond and Us and Them to the rhythms of Run Like Hell, right up to the most intense leads of Time, Sorrow and Comfortably Numb.
On the HeadRush Eleven HD, the pack also includes PF Acoustic and a cabinet design inspired by WEM / Fane Crescendo, further expanding the ways in which we can explore the repertoire.
Every song needs a different voice
Run Like Hell requires precision and delay, Money needs attack and modulation, while Time and Comfortably Numb rely on sustain and presence. Shine On and Us and Them, on the other hand, call for space, breath, and lingering tails that remain suspended without masking the rest of the band.
PF Acoustic then adds a different color from the electric cleans: a dedicated position to use when the song needs to shift character without losing continuity.
When the rig follows the music
Before going on stage, we arrange the tones according to the setlist and check input, output, levels, IRs and the transition to the next position.
The point is not simply to have sixteen sounds ready: it is knowing that each one can enter at exactly the right moment, without interrupting what we are trying to tell.
When the transition becomes natural, you stop thinking about the rig and only the song remains.
